Springer's instructions for camera-ready papers (pdf format): typeinst.pdf

As in previous years, the COLT 2005 proceedings will be published by Springer as part of the Lecture Notes in Artificial Intelligence series. The proceedings will include all papers and open problems accepted to the conference, and will appear both as a printed book and in a full-text online format. Therefore, all papers should be written using the Springer class/style files, available below:

These files and others can also be obtained directly from the Springer website.

Submitted papers should not exceed 15 pages, including all references, figures and appendices. Each paper should include a title, authors' names, postal and email addresses, and a 200-word abstract suitable for the conference program. Submissions must be in either postscript or pdf format. Using Latex2e to typeset your paper is highly recommended and using the hyperlink features of Latex2e for the online proceedings version is encouraged.

Accepted papers must strictly follow the publisher's format instructions. These instructions are available here. Take note that notification of acceptance or rejection will be on March 31, and camera-ready versions of accepted papers must be submitted by April 11. This tight schedule gives authors of accepted papers 10 days to consider reviewers' remarks and to conform with the publisher's requirements. Therefore, it is highly recommended that you read and consider the publisher's instructions for your initial submission as well.

Students who are eligible for the "Best Student Paper" award should indicate so by adding a footnote on the first page of their paper.

Camera-ready versions of accepted papers must be submitted along with Latex code, all external files (e.g. eps figures) and a dvi file. Papers not generated using Latex should consult the publisher's instructions page for information on final submission format.
