Morning program: Water rocket salute
A celebration involving Manfred would not be complete without an epsilon-crazy outdoor activity.
What would Manfred do?
In the morning of ManfredFest we will have a Water Rocket Salute in honor of Manfred’s birthday. This will take place between 10:00 and 11:00 on the large lawn of the Oosterpark (which is easily reached in 15 mins by tram 9 from the conference venue).
We invite people to build and bring their own water rocket. This is not hard, see these easy instructions:
We will build a few ourselves and arrange for the required bicycle pumps and water buckets.
We hope that everyone will come watch, and that those particularly inspired by Manfred will build one at home for the occasion. In any case this will be fun and exciting.
